Residential Care
Also referred to as Personal Care and Assisted Living, this service is for people aged 65 and above who require support with the activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, medication supervision, cooking, cleaning, and mobility which can no longer be managed at home.
Many residents also choose to live with us simply because they no longer want to live alone or to shoulder the burden of maintaining their own home.
Care for this group of residents is simply about peace of mind, and we are able to provide a place where our residents are able to flourish; making friends and exploring new interests.
Care is available 24 hours a day seven days a week and directed by highly skilled healthcare workers.
Dementia Care
For those living with dementia, the dementia care program is designed to focus on a person’s key strengths, helping residents live active and fulfilling lives whilst with us at Glebe House.
People experiencing dementia can have difficulty communicating, which in turn can lead to a sense of isolation.
Our dementia care program is there to help find ways in which they can re-engage with their families, friends and the community as a whole. It has been formulated by our dementia care specialists and is constantly informed by the most up-to-date research available.
In essence, our approach is to gain an insight into our residents life stories through recollections of family members and memories.
Respite Care
Respite care at Glebe House provides short-term support for individuals who may require additional care following a hospital stay, whilst recovering from illness, or when a regular carer needs a well-earned break.
Our respite residents enjoy the same high standard of care, comfortable accommodation, and welcoming atmosphere as our long-term residents, ensuring they feel at home from the moment they arrive.
With access to our attractive gardens, engaging activities, and dedicated care team, respite stays can provide valuable support, companionship, and peace of mind for both residents and their families.

public house and also a very good bowls club a short walk away.
Whatever you choose there is a great deal to
